Fire breathing, fire eating, fire manipulations of all manner.

I am a fire eater. I think of myself as a fire artist. Eating fire is only one of the many things I do with fire. I play with fire. I extinguish fire with various parts of my body. Mostly I crush it out with my hands. I also set my hand on fire and light up my fingers to perform a stunt called a "transfer." In fact, I perform a tongue transfer in my fire show called "Great Balls of Fire." I eat fire. I manipulate the fumes in a manner that lights my mouth on fire. I have a little speech about how stupid all this fire stuff is. I then proceed to create controlled explosions with my mouth. I am a fire breather. A fire manipulator. A Dragon.

I perform with fire for Renaissance Festivals, a Pirate Cruise, corporate events, parades, even birthday parties. Welcome to my web.

Great Fire Eating Performances - 04/07/10

Once I got settled in and unpacked I was able to get all of my fuel and equipment in perfect ready condition. This made a great difference in my performances. I can put on a fire show at any given moment, but having all of my toys puts me in a comfort zone. The audiences were fantastic, they were all rowdied up and piratecentric. I pulled off a torchless fireball in 20 mph winds just to feel the power. I ended up in the evening hanging out with Phil Calo and we thought it would be a good idea to shoot stuff out of the cannon. We proceeded to blast several Limes, a potato, some fishing floats and a keyfob out of the cannon at Pier 19. So much fun.

Fire Breathing on Easter in Padre - 04/05/10

My arrival here took a day longer than I wanted but i made it just before the Easter weekend. There were a lot of people on the Island. The causeway took an hour to get across. There was a 2 day concert across the street from my condo and I got to listen to current Hispanic pop stars till 3am both Friday and Saturday. The first 4 shows I performed I blew fire with kerosene. Stinky, smokey fireballs that pop and crackle as they burn. The wicked winds were pushing 20 to 25mph with gusts coming in from random directions.

Winter Fire Performances - 01/30/10

The Winter season had a lot of bad weather. The northerlies were sending the rain in at 50 miles an hour. As frequent as the rain came, South padre never goes long without a beautiful day and there were some great shows. Every Saturday sunset in January I performed a quick little fire show at Pier 19. Immediately afterward, Phil Calo and I would shoot off serious fireworks over the Pier. It was a lot of fun. I left South Padre for a detox stint at the AZ renfest where I play Gille Du. I left at the last minute and counted the weekends till my return.

Start of a great run - 12/02/09

Today I loaded into South Padre Island and then started up with fire almost immediately. 2 shows today. I missed a torchlesss in the first show because I was trying to show off with my mouth on fire. I had great shows otherwise. The Arnolds (a knife throwing show) had told me that the fish netting that was put up cuts the wind to a great extent. And it really did. They raised the bar by playing with the cannon nattle from Pier 19. I buck up, an now i shoot many cannons during a day. The fuel I normally use hid inside the mess of my truck and I blew kerosene fire for the last show. Extra Eww. But I sure love the sparkle of a kerosene fireball. The flame is not as hot so it is redder (is that a word?) and there is a lot of wicked looking black smoke that rolls off the end of the blasts.

The Pirate ship rocks, I feel like I am at home.
