There is a unique quality to the air in the mountains. It seems to stretch the fire out. As though the lack of oxygen in the air makes the fire hungry, reaching for both fuel and the O2. Breathing fire in the parade is a blast. Walking, strange winds, oblivious guests, elephants, broken terrain and gas in my eyes. I almost always will use the sustained blast technique. This actually gives me more control over the fireball.
